In order to be able to bring more than 5 pupils as stated in the initial application we decided (together with the school principal) to apply for extra financing from the Région Centre. We applied for the Trans’Europe programme in September and we found out we are accepted in November. This gave us the time to organise and take the entire class of 2SPVL in Romania (it’s true – the class was of only 8 pupils) as well as 4 pupils from 1SPVL.
It was a great opportunity for our pupils, who appreciated meeting new people from various countries and even decided to apply for an internship with the Erasmus+ programme before they finish high school to return to Romania and work in an orphanage.
