On 12th December, 2018 we took part in a big conference organised by Daugavpils City Education department in collaboration with representatives from State Education Development Agency Baiba Sermuliņa and Jana Meržvinska. Project coordinators from Daugavpils secondary schools, vocational schools and kindergartens had a great opportunity to share their experience working on Erasmus projects. We also presented our project ‘Sharing the world: disability and displacement’ talking about the collaboration between our school-lyceum and orphanage house ‘Nayene’ and schools for children with special need. We mentioned that work in our project had lots of benefits both for children and teachers as it helped us to become more open-minded and taught to be more tolerant to others. We have learned a lot from our partners during our mobilities and now continue to realize our project activities. So, all konference participants got some really good ideas and inspiration for working on projects and realizing their creative ideas.
In the hall next to the conference hall there was an exhibition, were everyone could get acquainted with project products, as well as could talk to the coordinators asking for advice or sharing some good practices. Thanks to our expert from Daugavpils City Education department Evelina Balode we had this important event in our city.
