France Mobility – Day 3

The 3rd day had a busy schedule, between conference, visit and workshops. The students from the 6 partner countries accompanied by the students of the 1st SPVL and CAP2 ATMFC actively participated all morning in a workshop of choice: sign language, a creative visual arts workshop by folding and an applied arts workshop.

At the same time, a conference hosted by Mrs Vassort of the CNAM and Mr Moreau from Pôle Emploi was offered to the adult partners of the ERASMUS project, open to adults from all schools and to students from the higher education department. The challenge was to make an inventory of the situation in France both people with disabilities, the challenges of their professional integration and also refugees. Mrs Vassort clarified the notions of refugees, asylum seekers, migrants on this occasion and recalled the historical context in France of the reception of people with disabilities. The conference was dense.

The adult partners still had questions when it was time to go out and eat. The afternoon was devoted to the visit of APIRJSO-La Couronnerie.

We were very well received by the managers. Shared in two groups, partners and students of the establishment were able to discover either the medical-professional institute welcoming an audience in situation of disability in learning phase, or the ESAT of Couronnerie.
