That’s already the last day of this meeting. This Friday morning, the group was received by Mrs. Grivot at the Orléans Town Hall.
The ceremony was filled with emotion. Mr. Véron, our school head supported the “Sharing the world” project and stressed the importance of the ERASMUS projects funded by Europe to promote the meeting of young people and their teachers. The coordinators of the six partner countries, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Turkey and Portugal expressed their satisfaction and presented a word of thanks, encouragement; they emphasized the importance of sharing. All thanked Mr Véron and Mr Poulin for the welcome and warmly congratulated the project team.
The afternoon was devoted to a sports initiation related to disability with the association Handisport: A good way to become aware that a sporting activity is possible when one is visually impaired or in a wheelchair. This fifth day marks the time of the assessment. We had a great experience. We shared good moments of conviviality and sharing, all in English! We worked to think about better welcoming, accompanying and professionalizing people with disabilities and refugees. May all those who participated in this project be warmly thanked for their commitment.
