As part of Mrs Bocher English course two Pôle emploi (the French job search organization) managers have conducted a conference in English for the pupils in final grade and in college. Firstly, they have presented the entire employment situation in the region then they have provided selected data in every sector of our students (industrial maintenance, air conditioning and heating, the social sectors professions but also tourism and business fields).
The students have been explained all the systems set up by Pôle Emploi to help the people to travel abroad and to find an internship or a job in a foreign country. In order to give a real-world example as to what was proposed a video showing a French girl achieving a training period in a bank has been projected and a young French girl who achieved an internship through the Erasmus plus programme and a young African from Benin who carried out an European Voluntary Service programme have been invited and have explained their international experience in front of the students.
