First transnational project meeting in Portugal (23 – 25 october 2017)

On the first day of work, the partner countries created the following agenda: The general presentation of the project – the project coordinator pointed the red line of the project. The general presentation of the participants: each participant in the transnational mobility presented the necessity of their participation in the activity and their role. The presentation of the national system of each partner school- for a good realisation of the common materials several things were needed: to identify the junction point of the 7 educational systems, to identify the differences between the educational systems and to emphasize their strong points, opportunities and threats.
Each country loaded the materials on their project Facebook and public page, which will gather all the materials until the project web page is created.
The presentation of the special educational system of each country – in order to benefit from a good collaboration, there was the need of the gathering of all data regarding the life quality of people with disabilities, deficiencies, at risk of scholar abandonment. Each partner school created presentations meant to inform participants of the psychological, social and pragmatic perspective.
Second day of activities-The activities done in the second day of work were full of pragmatism;
We took part in activities at CERCI special needs school – for students and grown-ups. We got familiar with their teaching methods, the logistics the school has, the number of teachers/students, the worksheets designed both for students and teachers. We were presented with the methods used in order to boost self-esteem, to increase communication with family, to integrate in society.
Another objective was the visit to the vocational school attended by youngsters/grown-ups with disabilities and deficiencies – CERCI in order to identify ways of integrating them into the labour market in Portugal.
The teams from the 7 countries revised the objectives of the project taking into account the indications received by the project coordinator from France, from her Agency.
During this project meeting we established the tasks for each country ,the way to accomplish the dissemination and the evaluation plan, task accomplishment, the correspondence between objectives and activities. The team members established the programme of activities and the deadlines for the first year.
We went on a working visit to Bairro kindergarten which has a normal schedule but there are also some children with disabilities who are fully integrated. The teachers from the 7 countries took part in a real class, they talked with the persons who accompanied the children with special needs, with the teachers who worked with them. The active involvement proved to be very efficient.
The teachers talked about the project site, each country received the task to post the costs for hosting and web design. We established the basic structure of the site.
We agreed on the criteria regarding the ways in which the students and the teachers are selected to participate in the project.
During the last day of the transnational mobility we checked every detail regarding the budget of the countries that are members in the project, the way the money is allotted and spent so that all the activities and the expenses shoud be eligible and in accordance with the Application Form.
We presented the sites where the beneficiaries of the project and the project coordinator have to upload the information regarding the activities and the mobilities so that the visibility and the reports about the project be done according to the moral and legal standards.
We established the way in which each country should measure the impact on the target group, how we should do the final products and the means through which we will implement them in schools, in the institutions that are our partners/collaborators.
